Toolbox Idea by Philip Huan
My Idea is about setting aside time to personally pick up your children from school once a week, and to have lunch with them.
I spend about to two hours away from work for this and sometimes my son, daughter and I will just go with what happens – as long as we get to talk and eat!
There was this one time my car broke down and our daddy hour ended up being a quick lunch and ride in a tow truck. It turned out to be a real-life adventure with my son! He learnt quite a bit about cars along the way plus the importance of taking good care of our things!
Daddy hour has potential for much freedom and flexibility.
Dads and Kids will love this because it is easy to do. Kids get personal attention and a chance to set the agenda. It’s a very empowering experience for them!
