Makan Your Way to KL 1

mee rebusWe begin a series of 9 posts that will guide Dads and Kids on a family makan adventure from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur (KL)*. So, if you’re travelling that way, do remember to plan in stopovers for some of these delightful meals!

We would like to suggest that you exit through the Woodlands Checkpoint so that you’ll be closer to Taman Seri Tebrau in Johor.

Our first recommendation on what to eat here is the halal Haji Wahid Mee Rebus at Zainal’s Place. What sets this famous recipe apart is Haji’s secret sauce made with fresh spices, sweet potatoes, roasted groundnuts and dried shrimps.

You will not regret trying it.
