- A quiet place that gives you 15 minutes alone, without interruption of any kind.
- Start each session by taking in a deep breath, holding it briefly, and exhaling just as deeply and slowly. Repeat 8 times.
- Focus your mind on your breathing, filling your lungs as much as possible, then exhaling as completely as you can each time.
Follow with selecting one dimension from your Day 1 reflections that you want to begin improving on first. Create a simple plan of action.
Later in the day, share it with someone you trust so that person can help you to stay accountable for your commitment.
Do not be over-ambitious with the steps you take. Allow the change to come gradually and step by step. Consistency and long term change are what you are after. Mark your successes.
