After your deep breathing exercise, spend ten minutes in silence. Focus on your heart – your emotions and feelings. Do not think, or do anything else.

Write down the emotions that you experience during this time. (Eg. Joy, a deep peace, frustration, impatience ….)

Spend some time reflecting on these.

Are the emotions positive or negative?

Do they build you and your family up or tear you down?
